when i make my offensive, presumptive and not-well-thought-out list of key takeaways from music genres, i’m thinking:

country: stay in your home town, fall in line, this is how things are done, dont leave home, get married, have kids, struggle like the rest of us, still vote republican

rock: love girls, break up with girls, love boys, mess with boys, break up with boys, sleep with everything, break shit, dance, party, drink, get all angry

pop: get all flirty, dream about stuff, wear lip gloss, text stuff, “do it” all night, whatever it is you’re “doing”

aaand…hip hop: get your super grind on, get paid, floss hard…then everything else.

seriously, this is some good advice for the yeezy and jeezys of the world. all those dudes talk about is working hard, grinding it out, getting paid and then enjoying life. aside from rappin about bitches and hoes, isn’t that what life is about anyway? not to mention “feed ya seed” and whatnot? pretty sure there are hidden lessons in this rap music i keep listening to, that my mom hates so much. this song made me positive of this fact:
